Academic Interests: I am a pulmonary pathologist and biomedical optical engineer. My main academic interests include high resolution optical imaging for early, microscopic disease detection, diagnosis and monitoring in interstitial lung diseases, inhalational lung diseases, post-acute sequelae of COVID, other non-neoplastic lung diseases and lung cancer. I work closely with collaborators in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and frequently have DPCCM fellows as members of my lab conducting research.
